Restore Pharmaceuticals originally established in 2019 when our founder, Nancy Simonot, combined her 20 years in practicing clinical pharmacy with Dr. Joe Gabriele, a Canadian scientist, researcher and inventor. Dr. Joe Gabriele had invented a novel transdermal delivery system, named Delivraâ„¢, as a natural effective alternative to oral pain medication. Together, Nancy combined her understanding of personalized compounding with the superior transdermal delivery system Delivraâ„¢ to provide innovation and scientifically supported compounds to physicians across Canada.
Founder and CEO of Restore Pharmaceuticals Nancy has spent the past 25 years in the practice and management of pharmacy, and a guest lecturer for the University of Toronto. In 2024, Nancy was honored by the Ontario Pharmacists Association as Pharmacist of the Year for Specialized Practice. And is a finalist of the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2017 Ontario Awards program for the Health category. She has a wealth of experience in clinical trials and a reputation for being customer focused.
Chief Science Officer Dr. Gabriele is the founder, inventor and visionary behind the Delivra™ technology. Dr. Gabriele has devoted the past eight years to innovation, development, and commercialization activities at Delivra™, and in addition to providing guidance and vision for Delivra™, he actively stewards its robust R&D program. He has a doctorate in molecular pharmacology and is an Assistant Professor (PT), McMaster University, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, as well as Special Graduate Faculty, University of Guelph, Department of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Gabriele received a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, with M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from McMaster University. Dr. Gabriele’s Ph.D. training was conducted under Dr. R.K. Mishra, focusing on molecular pharmacology/neuroscience and its implications in psychiatric and neurological disorders. He has received numerous awards, including a CIHR studentship award in pharmacology during his M.Sc. degree; an NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship during his Ph.D. training; and the International Congress on Schizophrenia Research, Young Investigator Award.
Manager of Business Development Lara is a University of Western Ontario graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration and brings years of experience in Sales and Marketing to Restore. Lara is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of Restore Pharmaceuticals to physicians and patients across Ontario. In addition to the prescription grade compounds, Lara assists with the marketing and development of the Restore over the counter line of medically researched healthcare products.
