Topical Joint Pain & Arthritis Pain Creams

Diclofenac Ketoprofen Celecoxib

Prescription anti-inflammatory medications are used to reduce pain & inflammation in acute and chronic medical conditions. Restore Pharmaceuticals topical anti-inflammatory cream is compounded with ingredients that target both pain and inflammation and are usually indicated for a specific joint or after an injury due to sports, an accident or surgery. The most commonly prescribed formulas include Diclofenac, Ketoprofen, Celecoxib. These belong to a group of drugs called NSAID’s (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs). Each of these active ingredients have their own unique abilities to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

In a topical formulation, we are able to apply a higher concentration of medication directly on the affected area(s) and focus the treatment where it is needed. By concentrating on the affected area(s), topicals bypass the problematic areas of the GI tract and reduce the concerns of drug interactions.

Restore Pharmaceuticals is the exclusive Canadian provider of the award winning Delivra base, recognized for its ability to penetrate deeper, act faster and sustain the release of medication. Dermatologically tested it is also hypoallergenic and non irritating for ease of use for patients.

Ketoprofen Ketamine Lidocaine Gabapentin Cyclobenzaprine or Baclofen

These are our strongest pain formulations which contains several medications chosen to treat the most common causes of pain. The ingredients are chosen to cover pain due to inflammation, muscle pain, nerve damage while also providing immediate numbing at the site and desensitizing or resetting the area from chronic pain. There is a synergy in combining multiple ingredients that target different pain pathways.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

  1. Ketoprofen: A Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug or NSAID. This is well studied for topical use and helps relieve pain and inflammation.
  2. Lidocaine: An anesthetic that topically provides rapid relief from immediate pain by inducing mild numbing effects.
  3. Gabapentin: A medication indicated for nerve pain management. When applied topically, it functions to weaken pain transmission, particularly from damaged nerves.
  4. Cyclobenzaprine or Baclofen: A muscle relaxant when used topically blocks pain sensations between the muscles and the brain.
  5. Ketamine: An opioid medication for chronic neuropathic pain aimed at resetting pain signalling pathways. The application of low-dose opioids topically to inflamed tissues has demonstrated significant analgesic efficacy. However, it is essential to exercise caution, as higher doses may lead to side effects such as sedation and the potential for dependence.
